4-8-26   THOUGHTS    

The natural, logical progression of our faith is shown in this reading!  We see, love exercised, hope laid up in heaven, fruit born and increasing, understanding the grace of God in truth! No wonder thanksgiving to God was made!  

Col 1:3-6    We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
4  since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints;  5  because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel  6  which has come to you, just as in all the world  also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth;

Our Prayer:
 Father,  we love and praise and lift up Your great name.  Help our faith to grow as it should.  We want a closer walk with You each day.  Encourage us always to be fruitful in the Kingdom.  We ask that Your promised living hope will lodge permanently in our hearts.  May we truly understand Your grace in truth.  It’s in Jesus that we pray,   Amen.
